Women To Follow

Happy Women’s History Month and #WomanCrushWednesday!

International Women’s Day is tomorrow and I am so excited to share some of the women I look up to for this week’s post. These women work hard day in and out to provide for their families, revolutionize in their industries and try to make the world a better place.

Reese Witherspoon

I’ve always been a bit of a spitfire. Sometimes it’s gotten me into trouble.”

Not only is she a gorgeous actress, stylist and entrepreneur, she has literally changed the game. She is an award-winning producer and book worm that helped bring back books (even though it never went away in my opinion) via Hello Sunshine. If I can achieve half the amount of class and grace she has while being as much of a badass as she is, then I would definitely be wonder woman. Here’s to hoping I can one day pick up her SouthernCharm and meet my hero in person.

Sheryl Sandberg

You are not born with a fixed amount of resilience. Like a muscle, you can build it up, draw on it when you need it. In that process you will figure out who you really are — and you just might become the very best version of yourself.

She’s the COO of one of the most thriving and prosperous companies in the world yet she still had time to create the LeanIn movement. She’s a mom, philanthropist, author & a digital mentor to myself and others. She revolutionized digital marketing at Facebook and is chairman of one of the best companies in the world, The Walt Disney Corporation. What makes her even more amazing is that she is a Miami local like myself! She is inspiring women to go after what they want in life and encourages them not be afraid to be successful. Here’s to hoping our paths cross again soon!

If you are confident in your skin, then nothing can stop you.”

Sarah Tripp is a social media influencer focused on all things glamorous and sassy in the fashion and lifestyle blog. In spite of her feminine and iconic sense of style, she has always be criticized for her weight in the fashion world. She is not afraid to speak her mind when there is injustice and stands for what she believes. As a curvy girl myself, I always struggle with my weight and I’m thankful for people like her that embrace diversity and fight for inclusion.

Yanet Obarrio Sanchez

“I have the best job in the world. We get to do great things every day”

This lady is the bomb dot.com. She’s a loud and proud Cuban mom of two boys who is intelligent, caring, strong and a fierce friend. I don’t know how she does it all but she is a master problem solver and overall advocate for awesomeness. Oh wait did I tell you she is also the best boss ever?
